Be personal: Make your essay about you; speak in the first person. Avoid speaking in the editorial “we.” Tell a story from your own life; this is not an opinion piece about social ideals. Write in words and phrases that are comfortable for you to speak. We recommend you read your essay aloud to yourself several times, and each time edit it and simplify it until you find the words, tone, and story that truly echo your belief and the way you speak.
There are also some other differences between the two stories. It took Ender years to train to fight the "buggers", a lot of practice and battles. He had to go through step by step to be close to the "buggers" or even before that. Everything Ender has been through is just like a dream. He is just a six years old kid, but he has to think as an adult. Sometimes Ender had to isolate and figure things out by himself. As a genius among geniuses, he won a lot of battles and other genius, and helps him get through a lot of other things. On the other hand, Neo was an adult when he started to face these struggles. It took him less time to train or practice before he could go to battle. Everything Neo needed is on the computer. Someone only needs to program the information into him, and he suddenly will know it. Neo also always has Morpheus and Trinity on his side to help him go through things. Morpheus is the one who tells him what to do and stop anything bad from happening to him. Trinity would do everything to satisfy him and would die for him. He always has someone to work with, someone who will protect him, but Ender is not. Even when Ender is on practice and there is always someone watching him and other kids, but he still has to fight by his own. He has to figure out how to handle things himself. He is on his testing process. If he does not know how to handle things himself, he is not going be able to pass the struggle; he is not the one who could fight the buggers. Neo just has to believe himself what he could do and make Trinity feel in love with him, he will be the one who can save the human race from the "matrix". Neo and his partners went through a computer program to go to save the human race. Not everyone can be the only person who could do something. That one person has to go through a lot of testing to determine he or she is that person. Both Ender and Neo had to go through a lot of pains, both physically and mentally, before they are determine to be the one. After that, they also have to go through many training and practicing to achieve who he or she was chosen to do. Both of the "Ender's Game" novel and the The Matrix movie are all about the future and science fiction stories. Ender and Neo are the chosen one. They are chosen to fight for the human race. Their age, their training, their looks are different, but their purposes for the life are the same. Its amazing with the age of Ender, how would he know or figure out how to handle such a thing? How could he act or think just as an adult? That is just an example or image that the author gave his readers. Ender could be anyone who has a belief on something and so is Neo. Ones belief could bring to them what they want to be, to do, and help them go through all the struggles or things that are on the way. There is always someone on ones side to help and protect them. Ones belief is ones strength and faith. Once ones belief is strong, nothing can stop him or her from believing in something.
These three well-written essays create a strong set. The first and the last would have been impressive on their own. Reading them all together magnifies their impact considerably. This student does an especially good job of targeting the school. This student focuses his first essay on his extracurriculars and relates them to why Duke would be perfect for him. He focuses the third on his Chinese background and how it relates to his career goals and academic interests. Then he also relates these interests to why Duke matches him perfectly. His favorite book provided the focus of the second essay. What makes this second essay better than others like it is that the applicant manages to put himself into the question. He does not just talk about the book, he uses it to talk about himself and stress the inquisitive nature of his personality-always a plus.

There are a lot of similar things between the novel and the movie, Ender and Neo. Even though Ender and Neo have an age difference, their abilities and beliefs are the same. Both of Ender and Neo know that they could save the human race. They could make something change. Their beliefs are strong and need to be strong to make them do so. Ender and Neo were also had to give up sometimes because of the some struggles they had to go through. When Ender came to the End of The World and saw the mirror with Peters terrible image, he tried to fight it. He tried to destroy the picture, but he couldnt do it. He gave up until he got a message from Valentine. Peter is like a big enemy to Ender and Valentine is his protector. Valentine encourages Ender to continue what he is doing. Neo also has Trinity as his protector, after he lost the first battle with the bad ones who are trying to destroy the human race; he thought he would die, but Trinity saved his life. Both Valentine and Trinity are females. They are Ender and Neos supporters. Valentine and Trinity are always on Ender and Neos sides to help them go through the struggles and dangers, and make sure that they are safe to save the human race. Both of Ender and Neo were chosen, no matter young or old, to help the good against the evil, and went through a lot of training and testing.
